Betis (5th) won 2-0 at Eibar (10th) this Sunday in the 31st round of the Spanish League consolidating its place in Europe, while Celta (9th) also aspires to continental competitions after beating Sevilla 4-0 ( 7th), with a triplet by Iago Aspas.

The Andalusians went ahead with a goal from Sergio Leon (21) and Ana Arbilla signed the 2-0 with a goal in own door to try to intercept a center to the area (50).

The victory puts Betis in the fifth position beating Villarreal (6th), which on Monday plays against Athletic Bilbao (12th) in the last match of the day.

The Andalusians are consolidated in Europa League positions with two points of advantage over the ‘Yellow Submarine’ and three over the seventh, Sevilla, which this Saturday fell 4-0 in the Celta field.

An own goal by Sevilla’s Guilherme Arana (38) opened the scoring, before Iago Aspas made it 2-0 with a low cross shot (57) and sealed the 3-0 advantage of an error by goalkeeper David Soria (60) . Celtiña striker took advantage of a rejection of Soria to score the 4-0 (78).

The victory puts the Galicians to four points of Villarreal, which marks the European places.

Celta dominated a Sevilla side that added three goals in their last two games, after falling to Bayern Munich on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final (2-1) with two goals on their own.

The sevillistas remain a step of Europe, but could be surpassed by the Girona (8th), if the Catalan team wins the field of Real Sociedad on Sunday.

Before, the Alavés (15th) won 2-0 at Getafe (11th) with goals from Víctor Laguardia and Munir with two separate shots (48, 76).

With his victory, the Alavés is a little further away from the relegation places that he has already 12 points with seven games left to play.

In contrast, Getafe, with 39 points, suffers a slowdown in their aspirations to try to reach the European positions.

On Friday, Deportivo de La Coruña (18th) won 3-2 at Malaga (20th), holding on to the Spanish first division and condemning the Andalusian team, bottom of the championship.

Despite the victory, Deportivo is still in relegation positions, five points behind Levante, who will host Las Palmas on Sunday in another dramatic duel.
